Vietnam has extended their period of stay, Australians no longer require a visa for Turkey, Australian can apply for the Sri Lanka visa for no charge.

Australians will soon need ETIAS to travel to countries in the EU. ETIAS will be operational from Some stage in 2027- it will become a mandatory entry requirement for Australians visiting Europe.

Although the system is not live yet, Australian nationals should be prepared for the new travel permit.

ON-LINE ARRIVAL CARD

Europe has implementing arrival procedures, there is no online form to fill in, only fingerprints and photos taken on arrival. The proceedures can take a long time. We adivise not booking flights with short connecting times, espeically if they are on separate tickets. If your arrival flight into Europe is late and you miss your next flight, if you have separate ticket for the next flight, you will have to pay to change to a new flight.

However be mindful ETIAS that will involve a fee, will be implemented for travel to Europe at a date to be advised postponed again until 2027.

The Australian Arrival card is being trailed at the and will be implemented by late 2027 or early 2018..

VIETNAM have implemented an online arrival card for foreign travellers, to be completed within three days of arrival. (Requires – Passport details – Hotel name address (Inluding Ward) – Visa issue date – Visa number is after “So” without the /EV)
Applicable for Saigon, Hanoi, Danang and Phu Quoc Airports.
