The scared Yen Tu Mountain is the cradle of Truc Lam Zen Buddhism in Vietnam. Prepare to be mesmerised at Legacy Yen Tu M Gallery by Sofitel. Its 13th-century design, constructed over a period of 5 years opening late in 2019. Your stay at Yen Tu sets the scene for your holiday, to relax, meditate or be active. Yen Tu has trekking and spiritual activities available – Take the cable cars up the mountain to witness the breath taking views and explore the temples on the mountain.
LEGACY YEN TU – Glenn has inspected and stayed at the resort on numerous occasions since its opening.
Located at the foothills on the misty ridges of the Yen Tu Mountain, a sacred Zen Buddhist site, the Legacy Yen Tu resembles an ancient palace, completed with stone corridors and handcrafted ceramic floor tiles sourced from northern villages.
Each of the mountain view rooms features local design elements that recall Tran’s dynasty, incense jars, stuffed rice sacks, and more. You will hardly notice the absence of television – a purposeful exemption in order to maintain a sense of respite while indulging in yourself at this mystical property.

The location by a natural forest the serene landscape is sure to induce relaxation and a sense of calm. Ask Glenn to include a stay at Yen Tu to complement a visit to Ha Long Bay.
